- : thing, I'll post it here. After this, I'm not going to discuss this
- : here again. There have been many devices made for the IBM. There is
- : absolutly no way that Microsoft can create a driver for every single
- : device out there. The Win 3.1 drivers most of the time will not work.
- : Therefore you are stuck using Generic drivers that may not give you

- I fully agree with you about Microsoft not being able to create a new version
- for _EVRY_ weird, strange hardware device. But what bothers ME, is the fact
- that Microsucks is able to make the whole world "upgrade" evry two years,
- throwing away *lots* of "old" software and "bad" drivers. It's amazing.
- People are very proud of "their" version of a certain piece of software,
- till a new version arrives. Their "old" version is crap by then. (I can't
- imagine that really *evryone* needs the benefits of, say, CorelDRAW 6, to
- give an example.)
-
- Hmm... Wat wonders _me_ is the fact that these kinds of threads come up
- all over usenet, even in groups that have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with
- SM-Windows (like comp.sys.cbm for example :). Why not switching back to
- the topic of this group ?
